Archaeological discoveries can help verify the historical reliability of the Old and New Testaments. Many scholars today question the validity of Biblical accounts, supposedly based on the findings of archaeology. But when the “discrepancies” are examined in detail, it is found that the problems lie with the
archaeology (i.e. misinterpretation of evidence, lack of evidence, or poor scholarship) and not with the Bible. While the claim that the Bible is the Word of God can never be "proven" solely by archaeology, it can be helpful in removing doubts that a person might have about the historical trustworthiness of the Bible.
The below links have been provided for the viewer to explore this topic of Biblical Archaeology. You should recognize that even within this field itself, there are those who disagree on certain things. A thorough exploration of these links will reveal that there are different opinions on different discoveries and evidence, just as there are in secular archaeology. We provide a variety of sources with potentially differing viewpoints on certain things for the viewers' consideration of the available evidence. As usual, you consider the evidence and come to your own conclusion.
Beyond just Biblical Archaeology, we also provide links to resources that present evidence contrary to the currently held views presented by secular archaeology. The evidence presented in some of these resources questions or refutes the current notion of isolationism, and the idea that the ancients were primitive. Be aware that not all of these resources will necessarily come from a Christian worldview, yet it is important to realize that the evidence never conflicts with Scripture. In fact, it aligns - much better than the secular narrative of "primitive man." In other words, we consider the evidence they present to be worthwhile, yet we may not agree with all of the philosophical conclusions they arrive at.
Additionally, be aware that some of the content pertinent to this exploration of archaeology overlaps with some of the resources provided under "Nephilim/Giants, etc." where we have provided links that display evidence of the construction of ancient megalithic structures using high technology unknown to us in modernity. This is also another example of archaeological evidence that goes contrary to the secular narrative. For a full exploration of this, it is recommended to become familiar with the resources on that page as well.
We consider the following resources to be overall, very helpful and reliable, and recommend them for your consideration. Please keep in mind that we cannot and do not affirm everything said on any particular resource. With that said, we hope you find the below links helpful!
Note: Both website links AND YouTube channel links (where applicable) are provided.

The late Ron Wyatt was a nurse anesthetist-turned amateur archaeologist and explorer who is best known for exploring and advocating for the Durupinar site in Turkey as being the remains of Noah's Ark. By the time of his death in 1999, Wyatt claimed to have discovered some of the most amazing Biblical artifacts and sites imaginable (in addition to Noah's Ark), for example: the Ark of the Covenant, the actual crucifixion site of Jesus, the location of Sodom and Gomorrah, the site of the Red Sea crossing, the true site of Mt. Sinai, and most incredibly, remains of the blood of Christ found in a cave beneath the crucifixion site on the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant. Although Wyatt has typically provided solid evidence for his discoveries, he is routinely considered not credible by many scholars, both secular and Biblical. We consider his research incredible and worthy of your exploration and consideration. Come to your own conclusion!
The Bible Archaeology, Search & Exploration (BASE) Institute - lead by Bob Cornuke - is dedicated to the quest for archaeological evidence to help validate to the world that the Bible is true, and that it represents an accurate, non-fictional account of God’s will to bring the people of this world back into a relationship with Him. BASE Institute fulfills its mission by engaging in activities of research, exploration & public education, to present credible, archaeological information that is sound in scholarship, but that is also interesting and motivational to the general public. Cornuke also came under fire for among other things, advocating a different site for the Temple in Jerusalem. Like in the case of Ron Wyatt, we encourage you to explore the evidence he presents and come to your own conclusion!
S8int.com (saint.com) is website that focused on "out-of-place" artifacts that do not align with the current secular view of archaeology and world history. This site provides an incredible collection of articles, artifacts, commentary, photographs, and creationist oriented research curated from a literal, Bible-believing, Christian perspective. S8int.com also has a great collection of information on mega fauna (mainly dinosaurs) that demonstrates evidence contrary to the current "distant past extinction" narrative.
